  • GC2 Power Bank

    Hi,

Has anyone ever tried using a 15V power bank with their Foresight GC2, such that when the battery is fully discharged, they can just plug in the power bank and continue using it?

    Thanks

Or written another way, charge it from the power bank as opposed to mains power, like you would a mobile phone?

No, but seems like an interesting idea. Also would be curious as to if anyone has managed to upgrade from nicad to lithium ion batteries.

I see absolutely no reason why this wouldn't work. I'm going to pioneer the idea. Along with Bluetooth, I'll be able to use my GC2 fully wireless for an extended period of time. Excellent for group situations.

Im sure it would work but would be an expensive experiment if it didn't. Keep in mind Lithium needs a lithium charger.

Hi mthunt, excellent point with the lithium battery. I'm going to go to a power pack supplier and provide them with all the necessary information, see what they suggest, and go from there.
        Working...
