    GC2 / GSX / TGC Issue

I tried searching but did not find anything related to this issue. Just curious if anyone else has or has had this issue before:

While playing TGC I will hit a shot, GC2 outputs ball data on the local LCD screen but nothing happens in TGC... I can minimize the TGC window and go back into GSX and disconnect/reconnect the slider. Once reconnected TGC responds and shows the last ball flight that it missed prior without me having to re-hit the shot.

Anyone experience this before or have a fix to this issue? It happens about once or twice per round on avg. and can be quite annoying when playing a live game.

I am using my PC internal BT adaptor and it seems to connect quickly. The GC2 has zero issues when using FR1 in Bluetooth mode, so I don't think it has anything to do with the GC2 itself.

Generally most gc2 can’t connection issues are fixed by buying the Asus dongle or the other one.

I would first try turning off power management for your bt adapter. If that doesn’t work get the external Asus or that other one that’s recommended. It’s inexpensive enough that most of these type of issues the user buys the dongle before figuring out how to make the internal BT work.

    good luck!

I might try that just because it's cheap, don't really think this is a connection issue though as it's never once disconnected and the data shows received in GSX. Seems like this is something between GSX and TGC from what I can tell.

3.10d fixes no launch bug. Try that

Looks like I am already using ProTee interface 3.10d and GSX 0.6.7, guess i will try BT settings and adapter just to rule that out.

Power management for BT was on, I will disable and see if that has any effect.

Good luck and check the “text”. In the protee interface and see if you notice anything there when it does t launch. There is also a log file somewhere but I forget.

if you get an error, post it up, so protee can see it and hopefully fix it

Get a Bluetooth extension cable. That happened to me before I got one.

I have a USB extension already in place that comes out of the wall very close to the GC2 (was used for SkyTrak direct connection before) if the power management does not solve the issue I will order the ASUS BT400 adaptor and drop it in the USB extension.
