Protective cases/shield with HMT?

Tried searching but couldn't find anything that solved it:

Outside of the plastic protective case that Foresight sells are there any heavier duty protective cases that work with the HMT attached? I have one of the aluminum/metal protective shields with my GC2 - but there doesn't appear to be any way/access to connect the HMT unit when it's in the case.

How are those of you with HMT protecting your GC2?

I use the plastic one, which fits fine with the HMT. I've never (yet) hit a ball anywhere near the GC2, so can't comment how effective it is!

It's not me I'm concerned with! I've had mine a few days and have hit hundreds of balls and can't imagine me ever hitting it. It's everyone else that will certainly ask "Can I try?!".

I posted the same question. What I understand the hmt is impact resistant. It does seem "rubbery" and resilient. My metal case didn't accept the hmt arm so I modified it. I also assume that's why it was cheap via ebay.

Take a hacksaw and cut a hole in the case. It is pretty easy to cut through.
