I was holding my breath when the first try of the disk would not load on the new windows 8.1 but after figuring out how to run the disk install in windows 7 mode it all worked including the drivers. To do that you just open the drive with the disk in and then right click while over top of the setup file. In the compatability area is where you can set it to run as windows 7.
Ran the program and it then loaded and was able to take a swing and it registered.
Just a note for others that have the older software.
Also if you are trying to set up your GC2 with the bluetooth in 8.1 it may ask you for a code. 0000 (4 zeros) worked and that paired the computer and GC2.
This was more important for the GSX setup in order for it to connect.
