I likely am wasting your time answering as I don't know for sure but it would likely take a new Bluetooth radio installed by Foresight in the GC2 which will cost a lot more than buying an Android Device to use to connect to the GC2.

They used to charge $500 to do that a couple years ago. Now they also charge a $500 registration fee before they will service it if you buy it used from someone other than them so you are probably looking at $1k. It will be much cheaper to buy an android tablet

I haven't used either one so I can't say. Maybe someone else can chime in.

If you bought your gc2 used, it’s likely a better deal to buy another used gc2 then sell yours. I bet you could buy an A unit for around 4K and sell yours for 3,500 to 3,700 would be my guess.

I have an early non-Apple version. They did indeed want $500 for the upgrade (plus shipping both ways). Went to Best Buy and bought their house brand (Insignia) tablet. Cheap and works just fine for the times I don't want to fire up the laptop and projector. As a bonus, also controls my Sonos. A win-win.

Thanks all, all sorted, bought the GC2 from a closing down Drummond golf (a golf superstore chain in Australia). He had 2 others for sale, so I went and swapped it for a GC2A. Same price. He didn’t know about the different versions. I am now a GC2A owner...first foray into the golf sim world. It came with a projector, screen, mat, FR1 with 15 courses. $5000aud. This site massively informed my purchasing so thanks a lot. Now to try and get it all working!
