    GSX Issue

Why all of a sudden after years my GSX is giving me a problem. I can't connect status input when sliding on. Status output connects. Any idea what the problem is???

Your bluetooth COM port probably changed. I have had that happen a couple of times, usually after a Windows update.

This is frustrating me to no end. It has worked fine for years. Now In Bluetooth it says my gc2 is not connected. I have uninstalled it and added it again and no luck. My com ports are only listed as incoming 4 and 5 on the Bluetooth page. I go into GSX and it will not connect the input at all. I have placed my Bluetooth adapter with extension right on top of the gc2 and still nothing. My iPhone can connect to the gc2 with no problem at all using Bluetooth. So I know its not the Bluetooth adapter in the gc2

One of the pics is incorrect in the gsx settings thread. Make sure you are connecting to the output port on Bluetooth for the income connection in gsx. Also hit a couple balls then hit connect. If it doesn’t work hit another couple balls then hit connect.

IP address is wrong, it’s usually 127.0 number or something

in the past I would have to make sure the IP matched the one above for it to work.

I wonder if my Bluetooth adapter went bad. I just forgot the device on the computer. Tried to add it and now it wont find the gc2

why are both of my com ports incoming? There should be one incoming and the other outgoing. Any ideas. I have installed and uninstalled. Restarted and powered off the computer a dozen times. Nothing is working anymore. Im about ready to sell it all and go buy something else that will work without issues.

If you can get to the ports tab for your bluetooth adapter, delete all the ports then add an incoming and an outgoing port.

Ok it’s fixed. The issue was a csr harmony program that operated my Bluetooth. I deleted that program. Plugged in the Bluetooth adapter and it connected the gc2 and it works.
