Talked with my rep. They are priced about same as the GCQuad. Will be launching Q3 this year and it doesn't sound like other sports will be supported at launch but they have plans to do so. It looks interesting but with my ceiling height only a couple inches over 10' I'm not sure I'd feel brave enough to swing a club at it.

Priced at gc quad price would be reasonable for a lefty or righty setup with measured spin. Two new gc2 is about the same price and needed to suit commercial set up's without moving the device. The market is fairly void of left right friendly measured spin simulators.

Cant wait to see your video on this Cory! If the multi sport is done well, this will be big!Originally posted by Par2Pro View PostCan't wait to see it too! I will be at the PGA Show and taking videos for all to see. Hope it is reasonably priced
Also the Multi-Sport feature is snuck in there too!

Posted this on the other thread before I realized that there were two. Hopefully someone locks and/or deletes the other one:
I received the e-mail as well. No details--it's a PGA Show teaser.
GC Hawk appears to be a permanently mounted solution directed at commercial application. Multi-sport (e.g. kicking soccer balls and shooting hockey pucks) allows for those using a sim for business purposes to appeal to a wider section of the public than the declining golf demographic.
Just a guess, but I'm betting that it:
1. Accommodates both left and right handed players at the same time; and
2. Is far more resistant to damage (and theft) than a unit that is set on the ground.
Question of the day is whether or not it provides HMT-like clubhead data. No info to report, other than the fact if you zoom in on that photo, the wall display in front of the player is displaying AoA and other clubhead data.
I seriously doubt that Foresight would put out a product that is less accurate than their other devices. With regard to About Golf, Foresight was brought in to replace a lot of the former's product at PGA Tour Superstores. Very possible that this was a product developed at the retailer's request.

Agree with Ookie, Par2Pro - please ask or notice where the GCHawk needs to be located to see the ball/club. Hopefully it is behind the hitter enough to be out of the way of club in 10' ceiling set up. Like LegendsFan, have 10' clearance right now in basement. Can't really get anymore height.GC2
