OK will do my best to get all the info possible! I'm thinkin' this would be perfect for my own sim and be great to help test the accuracy of other sims since it is out of the way - I'm super stoked!!!

Had another interesting thought with regard to GC Hawk last night.

Since Foresight is now advertising "multisport" capability, they are going to be faced with a choice.

      They will need to either:
      1. Start developing their own FSX-like software for every sport under the sun (e.g. soccer, hockey, baseball, football); or
      2. Unlock the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

It will be interesting to see what they choose. But I don't think that it would be an incredibly smart move to advertise a feature like this and then be faced with the gargantuan task of having to develop all of their own software in house to make the "multisport" thing reality.

Let's hope that they get away from the silly sandboxing model that no one else in the industry is sticking to (not even Foresight) and allow us to use third party apps, even if it means paying a fee.

FSX is their own. I can see them creating a very very expensive multi sport software.

My daughter is left handed, this would be huge for us. I have the opposite problem of many though, my ceilings are 18' tall. Anyone know the range that this works at? I'm concerned that that will be too high. Anyone have any videos of it from the PGA show?

I read somewhere that 9.5 - 10.5 is the required mounting height. It would be easy enough to hang something down to the correct height. This does look promising as long as it's not 25k.

18k with software that measures club and ball is pretty reasonable for a lefty righty setup imo

Club data will be available with stickers, just like the GCQ. I can see this being more accurate with HA. It will be interesting how they measure LA. Perhaps LA will be +/- 1 degree.... which IMO is better than +/- 1 degree HA. Depending on the tech..... it could be super accurate with both. If ball position is measured at the time of the cameras being triggered and then measured a predetermined distance away from the first measurement..... It will be perfect. It's amazing that the GC2 can be within 1 degree considering how HA is measured from the side. I believe that it is measured by the size of the ball over a set distance ( inches) At ten feet overhead it will have a much larger FOV for measurement which will mean greater accuracy. If I win the lottery........ I will be first in line.

Pretty sure he said club data too in the video.

Ok, I just saw the video and yes, says club. I was just going off what I was told by Foresight 2 weeks ago. They must have figured out they can get club data after that,

Working for Foresight Sports, I can tell you that the GC Hawk WILL provide ball and club data on release. We hope to be distributing the unit in the U.K. by this time next year (500 pre orders across the U.S has pushed initial time scales back a fraction).

Few mentions here about the LH & RH calibration. Quite simply, its worked out automatically from the ball position on the mat or grass area. Pretty cool stuff.

You work for Foresight J4ames? Any idea when more detailed info re: installation specs will be available? My ceiling height is 8'8", but was hoping I could take out the drywall and install it higher, between joists, which run transverse to the ball/screen direction.....not sure what angle of sight it would need, so may not be possible.....joists are 16" apart.

All those specs are on the site: http://www.foresightsports.com/gchawk

                    It says 9.5-10.5 feet

I know Baller, but if I put it inside a joist recess, which is about 14" wide, then the joist may obstruct the field of view needed for the GC Hawk to function correctly.....not sure if I'm explaining things adequately.....here is a link to a pic of floor joists ( http://teen10x.info/tuftex-deck-drain-installation/ )....i'd like to install the GC Hawk as high as possible....I don't think the spec re: lines of sight for GC Hawk are available yet.

Ahh, I missed that part. Yeah, good luck! It may work since it's camera and not radar.
