I've had my GC2 with FSX and TGC for just over a year now. I've played courses on FSX once, but I do use the range along with skill challenges almost every day. It's useful, but nothing beats TGC in terms of playing a full round in my opinion. Worth the investment to have both, I don't regret either of them.
How is FSX different then TGC ????? Do the two play different somehow ??? Is the strike information from GC2 transferred different / more precise ??? What justifies the extra cost ??? If I follow the postings corectly, FSX has a purchase price of $3000, comes with 5 courses and additional courses range from $150 to $500.
I have both .the physics of fsx are way better. Except the hole it's nearly impossible to make a putt unless you hit the dead center which is about the size of your ball .however never does the ball go flying and roll crazy on approach shots .it doesn't have the obvious spin bias to the left that tgc has .however tgc just looks way better
I have both and whenever friends are over we only use fsx .is it a good value...nope .but we are talking a luxury golf.simukator so value isn't really a great word lol
so does the 2018 version fix the horrible textures that are on the teton pines course? Im not sure what its supposed to be (marsh/shadows/mud?) but it looks like an oil spill by the woods. you can play off it no issues. It just looks like crap.
