  • GC2 charger died

so, I was playing on TGC last night, with the charger plugged in to my GC2. I went to hit a shot and it didn't read. I looked at the GC2 and screen was blank. I tried pushing the power button but nothing. I checked the charger to see if it was plugged into the wall and the GC2 and it was. I noticed the green light on the charger was not lighting up.

eventually, the GC2 powered back up and the battery was charged, so it appears to have charged until everything went dead. played some more on the GC2 unplugged. power voltage reading went down. I plugged the charger back into the GC2, but the voltage meter did not increase.

my charger is dead. how to I get a replacement? how does a charger die?

    thanks for the help!

Do you happen to have a link to the exact product at ascendtech or what to search for there? I want to get a spare just in case it fails.

for standard shipping. I am surprised Foresight would inflate price so much - $70.00 versus $7.00.

Go to ascendtech.com. In advanced search put in “challenger”
and it will be the second power adapter on list. Verify it matches the same model number and has same specs. In this thread another person said they had a different power cord manufacturer from Foresight. I actually started off by googling ChallengerCableSales with the model number. It took me to Walgreens online website who gets this from Ascendtech. Both same price and no shipping cost by either. Thus can order from either one.

I’d like to know also since the voltage is 12v instead of 15v on the original right? Probably doesn’t matter but I’d like to know also please.

Hey guys, I went to buy the 5v at Amazon a week or so ago as suggested above and they were out of the 5&6v. Looked today and they have the 3&4v’s. Snagged a 4v for a backup, hopefully it’s the same/correct tip. So if anyone was looking for one just a heads up!
