Gc Quad android compatibility or more precisely lack of!

Does anybody on here have an android tablet working with the gc quad.

I spoke to a tech at Foresight sports in California yesterday as I couldn't get my tablet to work with my Quad.
He said, no, it doesn't work and wont til we build a new app. He was straight forward and friendly enough for the record. But the management at foresight are awol for claiming it is android compatible when it clearly isn't and never has been!
I find that simply astonishing. Am I the only android tablet user that is a tad miffed! I mean it's supposed to be portable so even sim users need an app! Surely not every Quad owner owns an ipad. Android market share would suggest otherwise.

I'm a swing anorak and have no desire whatsover to play on a sim. So currently looking to buy an ipad!

Hadn't factored that in! It's certainly quite an expensive venture!

Oh, that's not all. The site also used to say, it doesn't anymore since I brought it up, that the Quad supported PoE ( Power of Ethernet). Before I got my Quad I had an Ethernet cable run and supplied PoE. To my surprise it wasn't using the power. After talking with support then informed me it doesn't support. This pissed me off because is was one of the factors for upgrading. It's typical Foresight, no accountability. Well it's not just Foresight anymore, seems to be the way of the future.

I am told it will work on POE eventually, but I'm waiting for that too.

Jollez, You should be able to find an ipad on eBay pretty cheap. You could also get a mini. It also works on an iPhone.

        Thanks Balker

I've bought an ipad now! To tell you the truth I've never used an apple product before so I'll be interested to see what all the fuss is about!

I think with regard to foresight, clearly they have/had some very smart people developing the Gc2, hmt and the quad. But failing to deliver on a couple very basic promises is worrying.....
