I played two rounds and it's already causing me issues. Do you clean the dots with wet cloth after each round ?

I’m more of a digger and they don’t last that many rounds for me, but it really depends and it’s usually just the lower dots. I’ve also started using more 1-dot since I don’t need all of the info on all clubs.

I really like the 1 dot. I put it on the toe for irons. Does anyone know if they have to come off for tournaments?

What tournaments are you talking about?

If you play a PGA event then sure. But if you mean a local amater tournament then better to ask that tournaments rules. For the Sim tour leaving them on but not using them seems reasonable.

People shouldn't be using any data (club or ball) during a Sim tour IMHO but I'm sure many do.

It’s for a provincial tournament in Canada Sanctioned off of the RCGA rules.

How would you "use" data during a tournament? Cuz I'd love to cheat, please let me know...lol

They last for a while. I wouldn’t worry too much about the life of it.

I wonder how we can check the life of LED Array on HMT. It sucks that those needs to be replaced foo. I thought it was only the flash of GC2 that must be replaced on a regular basis. I heard battery is really cheap too.

Are there any other disposable parts other than flash (GC2), battery (GC2) and LED array (HMT) that I font know about?

wait i just googled and it looks like gc quad uses led array as well. I thought they eliminate the replacing them. Did they screw you mmlincon?

Time will tell whether the Quads LED wear out. They appear to be a higher duty than the HMT. Foresight doesn't consider or call the LEDs a disposable component. Time will tell if a lot of HMTs start having issues and will need the arrays replaced. I know of a couple so far. It it's an overly expensive repair. In line with the super flash cost but still we should be informed that this can/will happen.

Believe me it has crossed my mind to disable the club reading portion of the Quad when I'm not using it for this very reason. No need to put undue wear on the LEDs.

I believe even the gc2 has an led array for locking on the ball.

I'm seeing good feedback on the durability of these reflective dots on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/i/352560738651?chn=ps

I've played almost 2 seasons with mine on, but they definitely need replacing now.

I also barely take a divot if at all...seeing as though I can sometimes have positive AOA with long irons. NOT something I'm proud of, actually working on getting steeper...

You are correct on 1 dot, 4 dots adds Club Face Angle, Dynamic Loft at impact, Dynamic Lie at impact, Impact position on club face
