I played a bit of the skills challenge just to see and it's nice to have that option. Works pretty well.

Say you need FSX2018 as well. I haven't tried it yet

So no GC2...? Only Quad? Is this confirmed by the user who has GC2 and FSX2018?

Says required gcquad. And I can confirm it doesn't see the gc2 in the app

Why is Foresight behaving so shitty towards customers. People are still buying new CG2's and will not benefit from new software?

Yeah especially when they crippled GC Quad with already-equipped Bluetooth capability and data-wise GC2 and HMT are pretty much the same (in my testing). GC Quad is great but I think GC2+HMT is just as good which is why people are still buying them.

I think Foresight needs a better economic strategist there....Enabling GC Quad Bluetooth will at least open up another 2-3 times sales than now for sure.

My sales rep just wrote me that it is compatible with GC2, so I guess I'll be giving it a try to see for sure. Are those who haven't gotten it to work sure their iPad is connected via BT in settings? Seems basic but it's all I can think of. The ad for the product states it works with GCQ via wifi "or bluetooth" which is also strange since I didn't think BT was activated in quad.

BT works in the quad, but only from one of the iPad apps. You can’t connect through settings, you just tell t to connect in the app and it does.

Their ‘product specialist’ says that it is only for GCQ... no support for GC2 / GC2/HMT unfortunately.

I was told that this app is for GC Quad only, and that GC2 app will be coming out separately. It can also mean we will have to wait another year or two for GC2 app to be coming out haha.

Not surprised. You would've thought that it would be for both right off the bat, it's not like they only sold a couple GC2's.

Yeah, especially since it requires a valid FSX account which wasn't cheap either.

I am just waiting for GC2 owners to have to spend $500 to get to use the new app since that us what their going rate for everything GC2 related seems to be these days. I understand that they want to sell more quads but treating GC2 owners better would encourage upgrades and new purchases. When you are spending $15 to $20k, you are not just buying a device, you are entering into a relationship with Foresight and hoping that they will treat you well after they get your money. The precedent that they are setting with GC2 owners isn't encouraging.
