    New Foresight accessories

A promotion email came from Foresight and it looks like there are some new GC2 accessories, in particular an Elevated Platform.

Did this exist before? Does anyone have this? If so, how is it? I've never seen anyone having this.

I’m interested But they don’t tell you how high it goes. It also seems priced well can’t believe it’s not $500 that’s a first.

Good question. Probably it is just like any other cases out there?

Looks like HMT would work. It appears to be a simple platform. I can’t see removing the feet from the GC2 to use with this accessory—which would create an HMT issue. Looks pretty straightforward, simplistic, and incredibly overpriced; like everything Foresight.

I went to Foresight HQ and took a look at that. It's mainly for stationary purposes (i.e. golf shops, ranges, etc.) and does not fit HMT. It's all metal and very heavy. It is definitely not recommended for home use. It's just to raise a unit and lock GC2 in so it won't move. I would just use a book to raise it, and most importantly, is only for GC2.

I think it is a waste of money. We had a few at our shop that was similar and I found that propping the GC2 up on a box of balls was perfect for the hitting mats we used. Gave us much more consistent readings with all clubs.

I purchased the new elevated platform and like it. Previously, my GC2 was almost exactly level with the mat. Now, it is slightly higher than my mat and I have a larger hitting area with it sitting a little higher ( where the GC2 detects ball before hitting). This platform also allow you to perfectly level the GC2.

I also bought the elevated stand. Do you have pic of your setup not sure if mine is sitting on it correctly. I also just ordered a HMT and not sure I will be able to use the elevated stand now.

You can only use gc2, cant use it with HMT. And once you put it on its really hard to take it back out. This was made for a range who will never take it out.
