FSX 2018 metric users (putting)

Hi.
know that i read somewhere that there was an issue with putting when using meters. That as soon as you come to the green it shows yards and feet? Can anyone confirm that it is like this or that it's working as it should with meters and centimeters?

I don't know about meters but we are seeing yards when putting. This is a known issue and is supposed to be fixed in the next update. I would imagine that meter would be addressed as well.

I don't. It was supposed to be very soon a week or two ago, so any day now? It's software, it'll be release when they think it's ready.

Reason i ask is that FR1 had this problem and Foresight never fixed it. Maybe metric customers are low priority.
Would really appreciate if someone (next time they are playing) could take the time and set FSX to meters and play a hole and report back.
In FR1 i used to have a conversion chart on my wall. I don't want to do that again.

If you haven't already, I would send their support an email reporting the issue. I shouldn't be too difficult to fix that one.

I have sent an email. They responded that they were not aware of such an issue with FSX. But i would like to know for sure before i take the plunge. If the issue is there it might never get fixed (Like in their previous software)

There is such a problem when the putting operation is performed. For the users of the metric unit, the friendliness is relatively low. They often do not have the concept of the English unit. They need to use the conversion to infer the remaining distance. FR1 has an operation that can be adjusted in the setting. I think it is a good option to switch to the m metric unit by default after hitting the ball on the green.
