    FR1 Setup

    Hi there,

    I recently got my GC2 with a copy of FR1.

    I can't do my full setup yet as i am building the area where my indoor range will be, however I was doing some setup and testing with my computer by hooking everything up and doing a few putts in my lounge. I plugged in the GC2 and its reading putts fine as shey are showing on the GC2 LCD screen, however i can't get it to register in FR1.

    I have installed Fr1, plugged a USB from the GC2 to my PC and plugged in the Security dongle for the GC2 and the Security dongle for the FR1 software. Is there anything i am missing here (i.e. another connection somewhere)?

    I fired up the range and hit a couple of putts which were registering on the GC2 but nothing happens on FR1, should putting show something on the range or only full shots?

    I am thinking it is probably the software version i am on based on other posts i have read here. I have only installed the version on the installation DVD, What is the latest software version and where can i get a copy? Would this cause nothing to show up at all or is it likely something else.

      Did you install the GC2 driver when you were installing the software? They are on Foresight’s website.

          Ah, no i didn't do the GC2 driver. I can see that on the website I will install that.

          Anyone know where the FR1 software updates are located?

              With the drivers and firmware installed it registers shots, however every time something in the hitting area moves it registers a shot, eg placing the ball in there.

              Based on previous posts I have seen here I think I need v1.3 software. Anyone able to help me out and send a copy or something?

                  Check the device management under the computer to find out if there is a nglm usb class driver. If it is not displayed, you need to add a driver to install. Sometimes you can't recognize the driver of gc2. You can open the gc2 device first, then turn on the computer so that you can do more. Successful recognition rate, I hope to help you。
