Which True Strike to use with GC2? Academy or Single?

Looking for some advice for the last piece of my sim puzzle. I am leaning towards going with the Academy model but still considering the Single. I'll be using my GC2.

Since I have the floor space and the price is roughly $100 more, I am thinking I would like the extra size of the academy. I'm not too concerned with "lefty" play but I suppose there could come a day when a lefty friend will want to play.

Can the GC2 be positioned to capture iron shots from the gel section and Driver shots from the regular turf or should I be planning to use special tees off the gel section?

Are there any other issues to consider with True Strike and a GC2? Just trying to avoid any surprises and "wish I knew" moments should I decide to go with either of the True Strikes....

I vote for the academy. I have it myself and it's nice with the extra space.
I hit all shots from the gel section. Otherwise you would be forced to move the GC2 between shots. Just use a normal rubber tee, works great

Considering the situation of the left and right hand swings, you can choose to insert the tee directly. The area is wide enough. You can try to use three pads. The left and right sides can be 1.5mx1.5m. The middle position of the pad can be placed to cut a 1.5mx1 foot wide. Insert the tee pad so that both right and left hands can easily hit the ball and swing, I hope to help you.
