  • Bluetooth Issues / Frustrations

I am super frustrated with Win 10 Bluetooth. I know this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find an answer to this. I can pair my GC2 , but it never shows as "Connected", only "Paired". I've tried restarting both devices and going to services.msc to restart the bluetooth services. I have a bluetooth extender and the unit shows up. I've deleted the device and windows re-installs it when I hit "connect", it just won't connect - only pair. Very frustrating.

Anyone else had and solved this issue?

    TIA,

    Steve

Is this preventing your setup from working? I seem to recall reading on my system that windows 10 would say “connected” but I cannot recall ever seeing it saying that. All I have ever seen is “paired”. Maybe I am wrong, but you might try and get TGC to work while it says paired.

No data is being sent. I think that it needs to read "connected" in order to send data and that "paired" just means the system recognizes it.

Mine reads paired in bt settings on win10, rather than connected, and works properly so that may not be your obstacle.

Unfortunately it is not sending data. Also, the "allow a device to connect" option under bluetooth is greyed out. Something definitely is amiss.

Major shout out to Pro Tee United. I opened a ticket with them and they hopped right on a TeamView session with me. Embarrassingly, it was a simple port issue (and I know better). One of the recent Windows updates must have reset or changed ports. In any case, TGC is up and running. Thank you Pro Tee!!!
