    GCQuad International License Fees

    Hi all,

I'm looking at buying a GCQuad for simulation and overall game improvement. I've been debating between a Trackman 4 and GCQuad for a bit but FSX2018 includes some courses that interest me. However, I split my time between the US and Asia and one of the reps claimed that I have to pay a $2,000 international license fee if I intend to travel with my Quad plus $2,500 for putting analysis. At that point, the TM starts to look more attractive given that they will continue to add more courses to their simulation library.

Anyone in a similar situation and how did you handle it?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Best,

Both Trackman and GC Quad have GPS that can geo-lock in case of theft (in Foresight's case, to lock you in for your home continent. Trackman also includes golf courses with great quality too but requires a yearly subscription ($1000/yr or $2000 for 3yrs) to play the courses, while GC Quad has basic 5 courses to start from and needing to pay $60~$150 per course (also $3000 for FSX2018 and $2500/$2000 extra if you want a putting analysis and to unlock geo-lock). So price will be:

    *Trackman: $25000 (indoor/outdoor model) + subscription
    *GC Quad: $14000 (base unit) + $3000 (FSX) + $2000 (worldwide unlock) + $2500 (putting analysis) = $21500 + extra courses.

In terms of choosing the product, it really depends on where you're gonna use your device. If you use primarily outdoor, Trackman is the best. If you use primarily indoor, GC Quad will be a better choice. Refer to my comparison in below link.

Introduction As a simulator fanatic and a golf data enthusiast, I wanted to see which device can really be the closest to real outcome. I majored in business and

I may be able to help solve this problem in Asia.
