I have finally got hold of a GC2 three days ago, it is excellent. I previously used SkyTrak. I changed for reasons of accuracy. I have the PS performance app which gives great info but I am missing seeing the flight of the ball in the range that you get with SkyTrak. I do not want to play simulated golf courses, I just want to practice.

Can anyone recommend the best software, FSX excepted, as I cannot see the point of spending £3000 on software I won’t use and support for FR1 is about to stop.

    Thanks.

I don’t know what they are, but there is another recent thread on here that says all the options for a GC2.

I bought JPNG when I upgraded my sky track to gc2. Really enjoyed the skytrak software, didn’t enjoy the hardware. Too many misreads and no reads. Didn’t spend enough time trying to get the best out of JPNG and tried to get a copy of FR1 and TGC. I started using JPNG after some guidance from someone on their forum and Discord user group. Never looked back. The combines, practice range is superb and I have no completed q school and started playing events. I would check it out, software is good and the community very friendly and helpful. Any questions fire way

      cheers

FR1 does exactly what you want. What do you care if the support stops? Many people, me included, have copies of FR1 software if you have a computer crash. All you need is a dongle and someone here will provide you with the latest version which is 1.3. along with the tilt calibration if you have an older machine.
