Hey all,
I have a very late model GC2 that I got from Foresight CPO about 2 months ago (Serial A12XXX). I have trouble sometimes getting it to pair with my iPad. The GC2 appears in the list on my ipad, and I can connect - but often by the time I open FSX 2018 on my iPad and go to select the GC2 from the device menu -- the connection is lost between the iPad and GC2. The iPad is like 2' from the GC2, and the iPad has no issue connecting to other BT devices. Once a connection is established in the FSX software (which make take 4-6 tries) the connection is constant.
But it seems odd that the devices drop the connection so quickly. If I watch the control panel on my GC2 -- it will connect to the iPad and show "connected", then -- if I just continue watching it, in about 10 to 15 sec -- it will show as "not connected".
Is this normal behavior? Do I just need to hit connect on the Bluetooth menu, then very quickly move to FSX (which is preloaded) and connect on the device menu there? If I am fast -- it all goes well. Just not ideal for a 5K+ dollar piece of kit. Want to see if I should be looking for warranty service.
