    GC2 software help

    Hello All,

    i just purchased a GC2 from a member here. It included an FR1 dongle and also an activation code for 5 courses. I can’t see anywhere that I would enter a code except to activate FSX. The problem is the code is 24 digits and FSX expects 16. The guy I bought it from purchased the code from a golf shop a few years back. Does anyone know what this code would be for? I will be contacting the seller and He has already said he will help with whatever I need but I thought I would start here to see if someone can point us in the right direction.

    Also, is there somewhere I can get FR1 courses?

      FR1 install CD does require an activation code, I had an original FR1 CD and instructions and it does say use activation code to install ( internet not required), but never used it as I had digital download of the latest software v1.3

      Was you hoping it was an FSX code...hope you didn’t pay for FSX and got FR1!

          I was kind of hoping the code may have been for FSX as it was kind of a separate deal. I definitely didn’t pay extra expecting it was FSX. I was looking for an Apple version with FR1 and that’s exactly what I got.

          FR1 is the old software. It has nothing to do with FSX. FR1 should have a CD and dongle.

              Did you have to pay a transfer fee to foresight after you bought your GC2?

                  I probably would. I believe the seller registered it in his name and had a download link for the FR1 software from foresight. I also got 2 extra foresight super flashes so I don’t have plans to transfer into my name until I have a need to
