connect gc2 bluetooth

Is there a trick to this? i can easily connect via bluetooth to play protee/tgc. however fsx2018 i cannot seem to get it to connect. just gives me an error. then when I think it is about to connect finally the entire program crashes. should i just reinstall fsx2018? any other thoughts or tricks?

No trick, seems fine here, doesn’t auto connect though. Latest version of FSX?
Had a few BT problems until the latest release fixed them
Have you tried USB, if works, try BT again.

Do you have the new GC2 driver version installed? There is an old one and a new one. If you have the latest firmware on the GC2 you'll need the new one. FSX2018 may require this while TGC may not.

To connect the GC2 to FSX2018 you first need to pair it as a Bluetooth device to the computer then open FSX2018, go to devices and click on filter. Click the Bluetooth button, it is not on by default. Then if you hit the reload button the GC2 should appear and you can connect. It may take a couple of tries but it works fine if your Bluetooth receiver is close enought to the GC2

Piggybacking here, I use the foresight software (basic free software from the app store not FSX18) and through bluetooth, it only connects sometimes.

I have to keep connecting and hope it sticks. It will eventually connect, but it takes 3-4 tries, sometimes I have to forget the network etc.

Any thoughts or ideas on how to get it to connect the first try?

What are you trying to connect to? PC or IPad? What is the OS? Why are trying to connect? Just for the free app?

ipad. os - 11.4 iOS. Free app.. trying to connect my gc2 + hmt. I have to keep reconnecting to get it to stick. Once connected it stays

It is either the Ipad (not likely) or the GC2. Given the cost to have the Bluetooth serviced on the GC2 I'd say take the 3 or 4 times to connect it. Another option is try and iPhone or another ipad. If they are all like that it's the Gc2. It'll take a month to get fixed plus shipping plus $500 registration fee and $500 repair. Something like that..

Thanks for responding. I will try a different device. I just purchased my GC2 in October... Assuming they'd service this for free (no need for registration since i bought directly from Foresight)
