Commentary ?????

I have the birds and all the ball sounds as it makes impact with whatever, but nothing else.

Does FSX have it's own version of John ???? Is it on all courses or just some ???

There is commentary it's just not very good. It would not be difficult to change the audio files though. You can enable it under Settings/Language & Units

My bad, missed commentary settings. Will look at formats and be fun to hack some different celebrity commentary!

I have the bundle from Foresight that came with FSX preloaded on a laptop. I have the volume on and have never heard anything as far as birds or ball sounds. Anybody else not getting any sounds whatsoever? Maybe I’m missing a setting or something?

Prior to the FSX2018 update the course sounds were hit and miss. Most if not all have sound now. If you are on the latest make sure sound is enabled and at a reasonable value in Settings/Language & Units. If you have sound on your system prior to launching it should be there during play. Can you hear the ball hitting the ground?

I can hear all the ball and bird sounds. I am now getting some commentary, seems a little hit and miss (same as my game). I belive you do need to have "COMENTARY" turned on.

It also seems like for every change I make in the settings I have to restart the game for them to take effect.

Thanks for the help fellas. Turns out the problem was that I’m an idiot I used the volume keys on the keyboard that showed it was all the way up but went to desktop and volume was clicked off. Appreciate the help on this!
