Question: Can FSX or FSX 2018 software by transfered from one owner to another?

I am asking because I am trying to figure out if someone can sell their software and recover some investment separate from selling their PC ... and obviously with FSX there is no dongle. I.e., can they sell their registration code or account?

    Thanks!

Yes. They can give you their FSX account details which you can change the details and password.
you can deactivate the software which will be tied to one PC, then reactivate on another PC.

if it comes with previously bought courses they will still be there as long as the login username doesn’t change

BUT if you deactivate and reactivate using a different FSX live account username you will only have the 5 free courses because courses are assigned to a specific FSX live username/email

OR you can pay a transfer fee and have it all put in your name (username)

        Quick question guys.

if I go the route of deactivating and reactivating FSX to new owners username and login, do I need to pay a transfer fee?

also, if I want to upgrade to FSX2018, do I need to pay a transfer fee?

I think it’s a yes for both. From memory it’s USD$750 any time you transfer the license to a new user account.

So if you sell an FSX2016 license the new owner is up for $1500 in order to get to FSX2018 (transfer fee + upgrade fee)
      Working...
