Upgrades / Course Updates ??

Thought I saw a screen shot of a page that showed you if an update of your course was available.

I checked the game and the website and couldn't find anything.

Great updates! Would be great to start some regular evening play with the net play feature if its working now

Just talked to Foresight and they also said new firmware for the hardware that fixes carry distance is ETA on 2/15.... Hopefully this time it comes out....

FYI I just was told again that the fix might only be for GCQ......which would be very dissapointing.

Interesting thanks, I also heard from the sales rep they were going to stop supporting the GC2 so maybe the update is only for the quad, though maybe he just said that to get me to buy the quad.

If it is an algorithm update, they should role it out for all devices and not just the Quad. There is no real difference in what they measure anyhow.

Has anyone tried the netplay feature yet? I tried to start a host but not sure I did it correctly and seems like u have to just stand around and wait for someone to find it. I would appreciate any tips you have on how to use this feature. I’ve been wanting to play others in the evenings and was hoping this is the solution

I installed the update and the Fairgrounds - I wasn't able to get any shots working in the Fairgrounds app, but the new update is working just fine had a bunch of fun playing the Inside 6ft challenges.

Fairgrounds is working well for the kids and I..maybe try to redownload it.. inside 6ft is a lot of fun as well. I have the quad.

Fairgrounds not recognizing my GC2 either. Tried it wired as well as BT. Tried it running alone, as well as with FSX running (properly). I tried it in the house, I tried it with a mouse...
I'll try re-installing... hopefully that will do the trick. If anyone finds the solution, be sure to share!

Hopefully they made it compatible with the GC2 as well and not just the quad.. hopefully others with the 2 were able to get it working

Anyone with a GC2 have fairgrounds running...as in detects the GC2, and if so, what firmware are you running. On 3.5.1.0 here.

I have version 6 running with GC2 and FSX recognizes it perfectly but Fairgrounds does not recognize my GC2 whatever I try. It also seems to switch randomly to left handed whilst I keep selecting right handed.

I also cannot get my GC2 to work with Fairgrounds. Firmware 4.0.0.15. No issues with new FSX. Same issues with left handed randomly being selected. I also have 3 GCQ's listed occasionally in the Fairground device selection menu that look like they were previously connected. You have to love Foresight QA...

I have only tried GC2 Bluetooth presume not working with USB either? For fairgrounds.

I tried my GC2 on both BT and USB... neither worked. Fairgrounds would detect my GC2, but not let me actually select it and proceed to the playing part

Well, look at the bright side! You didn't pay $750.00, which is what they are now asking for the FSX 2018 upgrade. Before it was $500, and if you waited it out, you could have them spruce up the offer with 3 courses or Pebble. The sim industry is one big wait and see, but there is no denying their hardware is phenomenal. I wish they were more open to 3rd party software.

Has anyone contacted support about Fairground and the GC2? I suspect it's not supported yet. Kinda like FSX Mobile initially.

Has anyone figured out what "NEW range mode support" is? Range appeared to be the same to me. Just wondering if I missed something.

I also cannot get my GC2 to connect to Fairgrounds. I sent an email to support asking for assistance.

My 9 year old sent them a tweet, they replied they have passed it onto the software development team....
