    Quad Read Difference From FSX

This is the first time I have seen this happen to me, not sure if it is common. The club data read out on the quad is drastically different that what FSX shows on the club data screen. Is this happening to anyone else?

You should contact Foresight. That is very weird and never had that happen to me before. One thing I can tell you though is for Club Head Speed, FSX shows you speed at maximum speed where as on the quad screen it shows speed just before impact.

You can change it on the display too I think to show impact location or center club speed. Pretty cool to see toe vs heel strikes for club speed:

Edit: leomode are you sure it’s not impact location speed and center club speed? I am pretty sure on gc2+hmt it’s inpact location speed and center face speed.

Sorry I don’t know what it means by impact location speed and center face speed. What I meant was a club speed at its maximum prior to impact and a club speed just before impact.

You have the club screen in FSX showing the AVERAGE not the Last shot.

As you can see here with gc2+hmt it gives two speeds. One that is the center of the club face and one that is the speed at the impact location. You will notice with driver the most that the toe is faster than the heel.

Now it makes sense! Thanks. It does not show you two different speeds of your clubhead at different points in the swing... it shows you at the center and then it shows the speed where you hit the ball.

Thanks for the information! It looks like I was misinformed (can't say who)...
