    Gc2 Bluetooth and TGC

During a round I think the GC2 is losing it connection. Every thing works great for 9 to 13 holes then The gc2 stop reading shots. The reason I think it’s the Bluetooth is on the bottom right of the screen the range thing (a dot with 4 or 5 waves) just keep pulsing like it’s looking to connect. My computer is only a few feet from the GC2, do I need to buy a Bluetooth dongle? I keep reading about everyone using BT dongles and not really sure why.

    Thanks for the help

Similar situation, ASUS motherboard with onboard BT, 6ft away, intermittently dropping connection.
bought the ASUS BT400 dongle with an extension cable, disabled the onboard BT.....never had another dropout

      Same for me.
Even with the PC right near the GC2, I had to buy Asus BT400 dongle: no more problem

It’s something to do with power management. Search the forum. Others have had it happen.

I thought the symbol in th bottom right corner was indicating the software was communicating with the TGC servers and was not Bluetooth related?

OH. I didn't read the whole message. That's the internet communication symbol. It's an internet issue with likely slow internet or some kind of issue somewhere between you and the ProTee servers. I personally think it's with your service, set up at home or home network tech. Some people are having issues that are fixed with VPN. Some people say it's ProTee but most people are fine. ProTee says it's not them. Try the VPN.
