Anyone tried FSX 2018 Pitch and Putt

May be fun for non-serious golfers. looks like it just came out. Not much info on the web site. Curious if it is 18 holes? Hole length etc.

I have, it's ok. It's pretty much designed for people who can fly the greens. If you turn off lie penalties you can play out of the rough. There is some water on some holes though. Anyway, you can see the scorecard and flythough on my site. www.mdmsg.com

I played it yesterday and agree that it's ok. It's worth maybe $30.

I have played it once. Set to auto-put it's a quick way to warm up wedges and short irons, and more interesting with more variety than the driving range. There was one hole where I thought the green was too small. I haven't tried to putt the greens, mostly because I find it very difficult to read greens break on FSX2018 vs another sim I've used in the past.

Kids use it all the time, also created 9 hole custom course from the 18 holes with all the shorter holes
Worth the discounted $60 but not $150. With auto putt and the strokes gained scoring for putts you can go round in the same strokes but the strokes gained gives you an idea of how close you are getting to the hole.

I considered it for playing a quick round with some wedges... but then decided just to make some ‘custom’ courses out of all the ones I already own. I made myself some ‘par3’ courses using short holes!

Foresight are missing a trick and should release more pitch and putt/par 3 courses using their extensive course catalogue. Would compliment their 2 skills based games a lot, would be more useful than the 6 foot game which I like but better playing different short courses to improve short game. Hopefully they do this over the coming months.
