Trying to figure out if I should get a new or certified preowned GC2. With new i think you are paying for extra 6 month warranty and the comfort of it being new? Any reason i should get new?

Do you get the FS software with the refurb? I was thinking I would get some cheaper software at first like TGC or something so i wouldnt have to pay that much. So if i went new it would be 6.5k but I might not be understanding things correctlyComment

If you find a used one like I did. If it needs repairs someday they force you to pay them $500 to license it with them. If you don't pay the fee they won't even look at it.
if you buy it refurbished from them 5400 it includes the 500 licensing fee.
so if you find a used one for 4900 you might just as well buy a refurb from foresight.Comment

I bought my GC2 from a forum member (I'll be honest, it scared the heck out of me to send that much money to someone I never knew or met). 3 or 4 months later I bought a refurbished HMT and FSX2019 from Foresight. When I bought them I made what I thought was a ridiculous offer to my rep, couple hours later I had an email that had everything I needed to certify my GC2 and purchase an HMT and FSX.

I was looking for a few weeks, before I found anything (UK). That one sold before I could get it, but it led to two more leads, and I bought one of those. So I went from nothing in 5-6 weeks, to 3 within 3 days!
Keep asking around - Ebay charges 10% so sellers would obviously prefer to sell by word of mouth ...Comment

I sent a PM. I just upgraded to quad (thanks rockymountaindad
) so I'll be putting my GC2A, HMT and FR1+dongle+5 courses for sale probably next week.
I would have listed them now but they are at my Florida residence and I need to bring them back to NY next week. Heading down to FL next weekend. Will post them here first for sale and I attached a picture below as a sneak peek. Will post better pictures when I am near them.
Can discuss price on all three items and have no issue selling them separately (would almost prefer to unload them separately). I am a professional ebay seller with over 5000 feedbacks so you can buy with the utmost confidence. I regularly sell high value items on ebay so this is nothing new. They will go on ebay if I don't sell them here. Ebay fees for most people are 10% but my fees are a lot less since I have their highest ratings and get selling discounts.

For me to ship either a GC2 or HMT to the UK properly, would probably cost about $150 give or take.Comment
