  • FSX Mobile app crashes when connecting via Bluetooth

Hoping someone can help. I have a new GCQ and am trying to get it to work with FSX Mobile operating on an iPad Air 2. The app sees the Quad in Bluetooth but when I click connect the app crashes to desktop.

When I try to pair the iPad using the settings app - the GCQ does not appear (even if I first open FSX Mobile). iOS and app are updated. Quad is running latest firmware. When I try the same thing on my iPhone - I get the same result.

    Any ideas?

I had that happen before but I recall after the latest update it went away. But I don't prefer using the bluetooth to Quad still and I still use Wifi. Did you try Wifi?

Thanks - sorry, which update? The app or the Quad?

Both but I believe iPad app had the latest update than the Quad.

Hmm - well everything is up to date. WiFi works fine - just would like to use the Bluetooth.

Looks like iPad update is there for the app and the patch note specifically says: Stability improvements for GCQ bluetooth!
