    Bluetooth adapter

Just bought a preowned GC2 and am planning on purchasing TGC19 and have a question regarding the bluetooth adapter listed in the instructions: "Connect your Bluetooth adapter to your pc's USB port using a USB extension cable. Run the cable into the sim room where the adapter will be as close to the GC2 as possible or within 6 ft of the GC2. After that, install the Bluetooth adapter driver that came in the package"

Is a special bluetooth adapter required or is this for PC's without bluetooth?

I think that it has been some peoples experience that the Bluetooth Adaptor has been necessary because to get the Bluetooth to work it has to be within a couple of feet of the GC2 hence the need for an adaptor and extension cable . I'm sure that someone will chime in with more detail but there is an adaptor by ASUS that seems to be popular . I don't believe the adaptor itself is special , I think it is just a proximity issue to the GC2 to ensure a solid connection.

      Thanks,

The PC will be setup within a few feet of the GC2 so should be good to go.

I have the motherboard with the built in Bluetooth, I never had a problem running my GC2 with it.

It depends on how close your pc internal bt is. My pc is probably 7ft away and it's not that reliable so I use 6ft extension with the csr4.0 bt dongle. It works great. I had better luck with csr4.0 than any other dongle. I have 5 or 6 dongles including the asus one.
