I see all these discussions about video cameras for FSX. But, my man at Foresight said that ONLY their video cameras will work with FSX integration for swing replay. What gives?

Not true. There are a number of cameras that will work with FSX. I use these cheap eBay cameras https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120fps-2M....c100012.m1985
I am sure others will chime in with different camera options. You can spend a little or spend a lot on cameras. There are some really knowledgeable camera guys on here , there are also some existing threads if you use the search function.
Foresight Sports don't want you using anything other than their overpriced products.

You can use anything that works as a webcam on your computer, you will just get more integrated controls from one that they have integrated. I'm having some issues right now with my IDS cameras that have always worked well and something is making them not work so well and although they were, they do no know how to support me on them. They said they will add IDS support to the request list, but no idea how many of those things actually make it to production.
Use whatever works for you.

If I’m not mistaken, I think Foresight use “Imaging Source” cameras and therefore all drivers etc should work the best.
unfortunately it’s extremely difficult to find high FPS Imaging Source cameras second hand.
so you may have to buy new direct from Imaging Source.
which will set you back a few hundred bucks.
