Congrats on the Hawk with club data. Would love to hear from you being able to test it out against Trackman and see how they differ.

oh ok, that's what I thought. Did they give you an ETA for club data? If you don't mind saying, how bad did they gouge you on the trade?

The club where I am a member are having 4 GChawks installed the first of which went in last month. Have to say that was the first thing that caught my eye was how big it was. Can't be far off 8 feet long. Only managed to have 2 swings on it so far as it proving popular with the members but from what I have seen it's superb.

Bouxy, how is it working out so far? I also have a Quad and was thinking of trading in for an upgrade to a Hawk. I also heard that Club data has been released for the Hawk as well.

Hello well I just got my hawk installed 1 day before we were going to Florida for 5 weeks I will be back on dec 13 and I’m very excited to get going using it ... already not having something on the floor was a great feeling I mean watching not to hit the quad ... ball data is in testing as I understand I will be getting it as soon as it’s released ... I’ll let you know how I like it ASAP

I hope you have better luck with your GCHawk than I'm having. I bought the GCHawk based on a few things. First was the solid reputation of Foresight Sports. I figured you couldn't go wrong with that company. Well respected as far as launch monitors. Second was the overhead setup to easily accommodate left & right hand players. Third was the ability to play in the scramble mode with up to 8 players. My friends & I have been doing that every Saturday in the winter for 5-6 years using E6.

The FSX2018 software graphics look a little dated in my opinion but I was more concerned with accuracy so was not a deal breaker. Everything seemed to work pretty well initially...but the misreads became more of an issue. Misreads happen for all shots but seem to happen more frequently for wedge & chips. Sometime having to re-hit shots up to 3 or 4 times to get GCHawk to read & of course the one shot it picks up always seems to be one that wasn't hit well. So that's really frustrating.

The other thing is the FSX2018 software seems glitchy & buggy. Mine crashes in mid game almost every time we use it. Usually you can get right back to where you were after crash but sometimes the game in play is corrupted somehow & you have to start completely over.

In all honesty I'm thinking of asking for a refund. Only had it about 3 months. It just doesn't function as promised. I am completely underwhelmed with the GCHawk & FSX2018. Was thinking of going with the Uneekor & E6 Connect & TGC2019. Would still be cheaper than what I spent on GCHawk & FSX2018.

Just my 2 cents. Not trying to bash the product just sharing my experience.

You're one of the first i've heard having issues with the hawk, but I couldnt imagine spending all that money and being forced into using FSX.

Well I have had my Hawk setup for 2 days now ... I have noticed that I’m getting a lot of looking for ball .. then right handed player please hit ... then when I do it doesent read the shot ... I believe it may be where the ball is sitting that’s causing that issue ... I may have to re-calibrate.. I have not experienced any software crashes as of yet ... that’s disappointing what you are experiencing... I had a quad and I used to get a few shots now and then that weren’t read but I hope foresight sports is listening and will fix this issue I’m sure there are a lot of hawks out there ... ill keep testing and posting my results
