Hey guys, just got started with my my GC2 and playing TGC 2019. I realize that elevation and wind matter on the courses but shouldnt the carry distance on the driving range with no wind be the exact same between gc2 and tgc? They tend to be off by a few yards and TGC has some "bounce" yardage, what is that? Thanks

GC2 vs TGC 2019 carry distance

GC2 only sends out all of ball data information ‘other than’ carry distance, because all software needs to make up its own carry distance due to in-game environment variables such as wind, colliders, settings and etc.
The only time you will see matching carry (or extremely close I should say as there are a few yards difference sometimes) in a bubbled environment will be Foresight’s own software, FR1 or FSX.
All other non-Foresight software will enforce its own carry distance. Every software has different carry algorithm too.

I find TGC2019 a little longer with carry as well. It’s not much.Originally posted by cphillips82 View PostHey guys, just got started with my my GC2 and playing TGC 2019.
