    Questions about GC2 Charging and carry&total distance

    Hi all

    I have two questions about GC2. How do I know that GC2 is currently charging? Since when I connected the power cable but there are no indications on the GC2. Is that normal?

    The second question is that why did I always get the same carry distance and total distance, is that because I do not have an HMT? I do not think club data would affect the total distance. Thank you!

      There is no indication that the GC2 is charging. The voltage in one of the menus will say something like 8.5V when it is plugged in, but that doesn't change when it is fully charged. The GC2 screen only shows carry distance, so I'm not sure where you think you are getting total distance from. Total distance is highly variable based on how hard the ground is, slope, how short the fairway is cut, etc, so carry distance is the only thing they can really show on the screen without having tons of configuration options.

              Thanks for your info. Yep I saw the 8.5V showing the screen when power cable was plugging. The instruction says four hours are needed for a full charge. When a full charge is finished would the 8.5V be changed? I have forgotten the number when I was opening the first time 12V?

              About the distance, I was using the foresight app to lookup more data like dispersion and distances. The APP does show carry distance and range, so what I thought range would be the total distance which is the carry distance plus the ball rolling. Isn't it correct?

                  Yes, you will see different V readings when you're unplugged. I think the instructions mention what to look for when it's time to charge the GC2....low 7. something V, maybe?
