Well finally got it up and running after a long battle with Bluetooth and some help from Hoganwoods. Not sure if will connect next time but was able to hit several dozen shots.

Early observations:

Everything hit was massive hook. Seem to get what I think are crazy high sidespin numbers.
Examples:
7 iron shot, 107 ball speed, 18.3 launch angle, 0.9R azimuth, 3720 backspin,1871L sidespin!,
3 iron shot, 121 ball speed, 15.0 launch angle, 3.8R azimuth, 2082 backspin, 1638L sidespin!

Do these numbers seem right? Maybe I've developed a crazy hook but these numbers and resultant shot shape were not typical on the protee sensor system.

Also, I still have my protee lights above where the GC2 balls will be hit from. Any issue with these lights interfering with GC2 readings?

I find the GC2 very accurate but you need to align it. If the machine is 2 degrees closed and you swing 2 degrees inside out, it'll double the hook. Look up the putting method to align and put tape down for future or align the edge of your mat. Keep swinging.

Thanks. I'll check the alignment and for sure don't have it in its permanent location yet. Not sure I understand what you mean by 'double the hook'. As the GC2 measures ball spin one would think the sidespin number wouldn't change it the unit was miss aligned. I can understand the initial ball direction being off but the sidespin number should stay the same.

Lono, place your GC2, align it, and hit to different spots on your screen on purpose to see what happens. Depending where you have your GC2 vs your mat, you may have to hit further on the right of the screen than you were used to because the GC2 is not in the middle of your mat. That sometimes throws guys off and they swing different.

I think I might have this issue. Due to the size of my hitting room (garage) I may end up with the mat not quite in the centre of the screen. I did read Foresight software allowed you to offset your stance - but I don't think ProTee has an option for this?

Never used the foresight software, but that sounds like a cool option. I think it would mess me up having a baseline that's not straight but great question.
