    Only Getting 1 Dot Info When Its Cold ??????

    Is it possible the ambient air temperature could effect the HMT's ability to produce results ? I keep the heat really low when I'm not in the building I play in and it seems like it takes a while before I start getting 4 dot reading after I turn the heat up.

    Does that seem possible or is my unit due for a trip to Foresight ?

      A lot of things could cause this including the quality of the dots and degree of the face. It sounds like cold does as well. If it works when warm and not when cold I’d say keep it warm. Wedges get more 1 dot than driver and foresight dots work better than harry dots.

          Is there condensation forming on either the camera lenses or your club face? Maybe that would interfere with the readings

              I do have Harry's dots and Foresight dots. Never had an issue qith either one before.

              Condensation could be an issue.

              I left the heat turned up last night, so I'll see what happens tonight.......... BUT

              is it safe to say ....... My LED array must be ok because the is strictly a "Pass/Fail" device or, could the array be getting weak ?

                  you could try bringing the unit in with you and then trying it the next day. That way you know if its the cold or not.

                      mthunt........ I think you solved my problem !!!

                      Started up tonight and wasn't getting 4 dot readings with Irons........ Switched to Driver (Black face club), everything read perfectly. Switched out some really old dots to new ones on my irons and ZERO 1 dot reads.

                      I think the moral of the story is.... Dots last a long time, but not forever !!!

                      Thanks again for everyone's help, it's really appreciated. (and in this case, may have saved me a few hundred dollars !!!)

                          Glad it worked out. I change my dots when i start getting 1 dot readings.
