  • AC adapters - Longer Cord

Hello All, I have a dual GC2 set up I'm working on. I would like to bury under the turf the cord for the power supply. The problem that arises is that the cords length is insufficient. Ideally I would not have them run on battery power or have extension cords involved. I would like to keep the box portion of the adapter outside the turf area. How has everyone else handled this or am I the only one? I've searched for longer cord versions but have yet to find one.

Ideally you would want the AC side of the power adapter to have the longer cord (like with an extension cord). Running a long cord on the DC side of the adapter may cause some voltage drop, which is why you don't see adapters with long cords on that end. You could add a power outlet on the other side of the room as an alternative to an extension cord.

Sounds like that is my only alternative. I don't have a subfloor otherwise I'd have more options
