Advice on buying used GC2

Hi everyone,

after two failed attempts on buying a used GC2 there is another one available on ebay. It is an older one obviously and the seller says it doesn't connect with Apple devices (maybe a problem with the firmware?).

What do you think of it? Is it a good choice? I want to use it with TGC 2019 as a upgrade to my Skytrak. The originial software (FR+1 INT 3.0.1) is included as well.

I had #2501 and it worked great with tgc. The older models bluetooth isn't compatible with iPad. The newer ones that are compatible will have an A in serial number. How much? $3500 ish fair and $500-700 for fr1.

It is 3950€ in Germany with the software included.
So the connectivity problem to Apple cannot be solved with a firmware update, right?
Do you know if I could upgrade a HMT later to this model?

Yes hmt should be fine. Won a bunch of trophies with my 2501

No, an updated firmware won't solve this problem. Only a later version, which serial number starts with AXXXXX, is able to connect with apple device.

Foresight can upgrade the Bluetooth. Last time I checked it was $500 here in the states.

Hi everybody!

I just bought a GC2 with HMT!!! Not the one I was talking about but a newer modell with Apple connectivity and for a good price I think.

I am really looking forward to it and I hope I won‘t have problems with TGC.
