I recently purchased a used GC2 w/o any software... just want a range like it's used in the big box stores. I guess I'm stuck w/ just using the iPad app.

I just joined the SIM world. Used GC2 shipping right now with TGC on the gaming laptop. I like to see my data on a separate screen incl ball flight etc... Are you saying you can use the ipad app without an FSX 2018 licence?

Yes. It’s the performance fitting app. Anything else you need a software. Big box stores use FSX. 3k or so for a license. TGC is sub 1k

Great, that’s all I need then for now. For real game improvement I may need to get FR1, FSX or even FSX2020, but that’s a steep price tag. I will try the TGC 2019 practice set up and use the performance fitting app to track shots separately. Hope that works.
