New GC Quad - Club Head Measurement add-on

So I got my GC Quad and have it setup and working. Had a Skytrak previously which I sold. The GC Quad is definitely a very nice launch monitor and seems to be extremely accurate. Really like the larger hitting area instead of the Skytrak's tiny hitting area.

I did not order the club head measurement and just wondering if you need that to add on the club head measurement in order to get club specs in the FSX 2018 Software?

I was thinking that the club head measurement is what turned on the club head data displayed in the LCD on the top of the unit and if you didn't have the club head measurement, you could only get club head data in the FSX 2018 software? Can someone clarify this for me?

Yes correct. They can give you 30 day trial for club data I believe. Otherwise you will only see ball data.

I just got a GCQuad a few weeks ago and sold my SkyTrak. Small world, haha. Like Leo said you have a 30 day trial and after that you pay the hefty amount or lose it. And you must have it to see club data. I will definitely be paying up as I see it as a huge plus to have. I can see it's already helped me with better face contact. And for me one of the most important things is seeing the lie angel at impact. I'm very impressed with GCQuad and I like the FSX18 software. The graphics on the courses are not as good as TGC, but who cares. I am not a hard core simulator playing guy. I am using it to improve.

No, you don't get any club head data after your 30 days if you don't buy the club head data package. Not in FSX even. If you have club head data, you get the data.

You can add it online, but you may get a better deal if you go through your rep, not sure.
