  • FSX2018 Premium course transfer

    Recently obtained FSX2018 from another owner. It included 5 courses (Teton Pines, Linfield, Broken Tree, Blue Bayou, Willow Crest). They transferred fine. The seller also has 2 purchased courses that we haven't figured out how to transfer. Seller claims he deactivated them on FSX2018.
    Some info that may help:
    We have kept same username and password for FSX2018 and FSXLive.
    On FSX Live under Courses tab, the 5 stock courses are listed on both his computer and my computer. The 2 premium courses only show on the seller's computer.
    On FSX Live under Licenses tab FSX 2018 license key is listed under my computer only.
    In FSX 2018 I have downloaded the 2 courses but it says "not purchased" next to them and I get an "ERROR Failed to activate course message." I have tried to contact a rep, but haven't heard back and suspect I won't get help without paying the registration fee.
    Is there a License activation code I should have received for premium courses? Did the seller not properly deactivate the courses on his computer?

    Any advice is most appreciated! This forum has been a most wonderful source of information. Thank you for the help

    First off Foresight support should be able to sort this out rather quickly. To de-activate the courses successfully the system that has the courses active needs to be active. In other words FSX2018 needs to be active on that system Then you are supposed to be able to de-activate the courses for use on another install. You can confirm this in FSX Live that the course isn't active anymore. This seems to work somethings and not others for whatever reason. If you have the email account that purchased the courses it should just be a matter of emailing support at foresight and they can get them registered.

      That is the EXACT same problem I had when I transferred stuff to my new computer a few weeks ago. It was like stuck in never never land and FS support had to unlock the courses for me. I sent them an email and they did it really quickly. support@foresightsports.com
