    Standard vs Premium Ball

Does it matter in FSX18 which type of ball you choose. I see that Standard, Range and Premium are an option. Does it make a difference? I always leave it on standard and I use ProV1/ProV1x practice balls and Snell MTBX balls during my practice sessions. I game Snell MTBX.

Not noticed any difference regarding a different numeric parameter being added to the data like Normalization in Trackman.
I think it is used for actual labeling of ball types so on report is it is clearer.
just did this with junior speed swings and different balls e.g prov1, super soft, trusoft, chromesoft ... reports are easier to read and player can choose what ball they will play with based on reports.

No, it’s just for your own use if you want to see a difference. You can add different balls as well.

just like you can hit an iron when it says Driver. Doesn’t change the results.

        Thank you both for clarifying.
