    Buying FSX 2018 second hand.

Question for anyone who has bought our sold fsx 2018. I am possibly going to purchase from a member here but I have a few questions about how this will work and he doesn't seem to know the answers.
    1) He will need to provide me with a username, password, and activation code correct?
    2) Are there any fees associated from foresight? Like registering under a new name or anything or are those things able to be changed from the software account?
    3) Have you done any international transactions on here and what service have you used (paypal, etc.)?

Thanks for any answers you can offer

First off, always use Paypal. Careful if it's a new member. I suppose you could set up though ebay and then use the personal link for the buyer to avoid fees, but haven't tried that one...

One option is for the seller to provide you his username and password, but that's assuming he is no longer using anything Foresight. You can then change that info. If you need to do anything directly with Foresight, you will likely need to pay a transfer fee, but not necessarily. there are some folks that have not needed to just for software dealings.

Do not only get an activation code. That isn't good enough.

You could always contact Foresight directly and ask them details to be on the safe side, but that may make you pay a transfer fee in the end, but on the other hand, that might be small for fsx... You could call and ask anonymously without giving any seller info. That's what I would do to find a worst case scenario.
