  • Free course from Foresight

I just received an email from Foresight

All FSX 2018 owners can now download our new fantasy course, The Crossing, for free through our online store. The discount will automatically be applied to your cart at checkout, and no additional purchase is necessary.

Thank you again for choosing Foresight Sports, and stay safe!

Nice gesture from a company that traditionally completely misses the boat on customer service...
    Almost can't believe it!

Saw it early this morning advertised in current specials, without being emailed, on the website, got it and installed it, its okay, look out for the moving train.

          It is a great gesture.

Question -- anyone installed it? Any other required software changes -- just wary whenever someone offers me a free upgrade when they normal charge a lot.

I have installed it. No catch that I can tell. Haven't played it yet but the install went as planned.

Thanks for providing the heads up regarding this.

It is a nice gesture and I am appreciative of any organisation doing anything to help in these difficult times.

I have had negative experiences with the organisation that is Foresight Sports previously and criticized them because of those experiences, but the gesture that they are making, though tiny in comparison to the scale of current global problems is changing my opinion of their business.

In a global situation where the economy is at best fragile and where other businesses are looking for assistance , I applaud Foresight for the gesture, they did not have do do this.......

I live in Scotland and we are likely to be facing a full scale lockdown with regard to the Covid Virus, a small gesture like Foresight have made brings a little sunshine to a currently bleak outlook.

Hats off to Foresight for their consideration.

It is a nice gesture. The course looks not great - but it is long and pretty difficult and ok for free.

I “purchased” from their website. And once I got the confirmation email downloaded from the course files on their website. Pretty simple.

I see as $150. Is there a code?

Nevermind, I was just now able to download it from the Foresight software archive.

                HTML Code:
                https://www.foresightsports.com/archive
Ran this course executable on my machine.

Then went into FSX 2018 and instead of saying "not purchased" this course said "not authorized"...I double clicked the course and it authorized and was able to play it. Never had to go through the online store.

                Hope this helps.

                Greg

I don't recall exactly but I think if you go to checkout it sets it to zero. It's possible the promotion is over though. If you have to enter payment I would guess it's over.

The graphics aren't the best, but there are some interesting holes and it plays fair. I remember a cool par 5 with a split fairway. It's probably the best of the fantasy courses that I have. Reminds a bit of Prairie Dunes. And the moving train in the background is cool. Nice gesture from Foresight.
