GC2 Flash Module

Beside the GC2 not recording shots, etc is there a way in advance to know when to replace the flash module. I know previously some of the older models there was a counter.

Firmware 3.5 was the last one that displayed they shot counter. But unless it was reset the last time you replaced the module that isn’t too helpful. Sometimes the flashes will fail gradually where they start occasionally missing shots. Then it gets more frequent. But lots of times it is an abrupt failure.

You can’t count on the counter. When it stops working the flash is toast. It’ll happen slowly.
