After you have it up and running let me know what looks new and what you think

Updated to FSX 2020 today. Appreciate that it was free, which was unexpected, to be honest. That said, disappointed there wasn't a new range or short game combine in it. Did see they fixed some of the bugs in '18 that I've found.

If the quarantine has taught us anything, it's that having your own golf simulator is a must.

I bought fr1 for $500 cad a few years back from foresight at the same time as one of my gc2 and hmt. If I can upgrade to fsx2020 for $500 usd I basically bought fsx2020 for $1200 cad. Not a bad deal in my opinion. If anyone has fr1 I'd strongly suggest looking at this deal.

Did you not need to own FSX 2018? I had thought that there was a $500 upgrade for that and that was for FSX owners. Fingers crossed for you, but something is telling me you need to cross your fingers and toes!

Yes, or you can go in your files and delete the 1.6 versions. Doesnt matter. Some will show up as doubles if you dont do that. All will open the new version tho I came across so far. I went and deleted the old after I made sure the new were good to go.

I downloaded Carnoustie 3.0 and it automatically removed the old one from my drive.

Playing my first game with FSX 2020. The score posted in game play is showing -26.0 through 14 holes, how did they screw that up?

Mine was looking like that too. At the end itll be normal. Or look at your scorecard. Has a new thing in the legend, unless that was there before.

The PDF Export bug not showing all the shots in FSX 2020 is still there, csv is ok though.

God Foresight is not good at software!!! They are really good at Launch monitors though. Hopefully they don't screw up E6 and also make it cost a fortune. Like someone else has said though, if we are complaining about software for a simulator, we should consider ourselves lucky

Has anyone successfully gotten the new version of Linfield to run yet. Trying to determine if it's isolated or systemic. Thanks!

Also, the breaking glass game is fun but the slow motion and delay between shots is annoying. Good concept but think the execution could be improved.

Thanks for the course update links. Where are they on Foresight? The website does not seem to be updated.

By Googling that language I landed on the Foresight page. Linfield National crashes FSX, clearly a bug.

Also downloaded Coeur d'Alene, one of the best FSX courses in my view. Did not play yet but from a first look on the PC screen, the trees are more fluid in the wind. But I don't think this is revolutionary change, maybe evolutionary graphics improvement.
