Do you know if they overwrite or take up twice as much space every time? I have the same question for the FSX upgrades. I have plenty of space on the computer just wondering if there are ways to clean it up eventually.
I’m trying to remember, but I think the FSX2020 install required me to re-install all courses again.
On top of that all of the new v3 courses too. They “should” overwrite as you install each new course, but don’t always, in which case you can get two courses listed (old and new)
I think you can just delete the old courses - if they remain - from it's file location. Not sure of the file location, but I think I read it somewhere further up this thread.
EDIT : actually found it here https://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum...810#post263810

Had on fsx2018
I still have 3 of my 42 courses that need updated. Ironically the last one to get updated crashed FSX 2020 every time I try to load it to play. 👎
LeftyLeff52 I agree that your issue seems like a problem with your Foresight Simulator Set Up Tool.
Here's how you get to it. It's already on your computer. Navigate to:
Windows (C, Program Files (x86,) Foresight Sports Experience Components, Simulator Set Up Tool (right click and run as administrator)
Many on this forum have indicated that to get their sim aligned properly they had to tweak these numbers to get their sim working correctly. I guess I was lucky and my actual numbers are pretty much dead on. My guess is that I am not playing offset and perhaps that makes things easier to align with the Foresight software. If you are offset you might have to play with the numbers.
Is anyone having trouble with the quad disconnecting and connecting while on the range. I didn't have this issue before loading fsx 2020. I thought it was the wifi adaptor so I connected it via usb and have the same issue. I haven't tried it with a network cable yet. It doesn't seem to happen when I am playing a round very often. I will reach out to foresight today and report back if anyone is having the same issue.
It's happening to me every 5-10 shots on the range. I am ready to go back to 2018. It does reconnect automatically most of the time, but sometimes I have to reconnect it in the settings tab.
