I suppose I don't know enough about how the system works, but why would E6 for FSX owners be different than E6 otherwise? Does it run on top of FSX or something? I really feel the GCQ is the right launch monitor for my needs, is FSX so bad that I need to reconsider?
thanks - Jason

I would always get FSX if you get a Quad. For practice and working on you game there will be no better solution, incl. E6. BUT: If you also want to play a bunch of different courses, maybe with others, and want decent graphics - then currently FSX is far from a good solution. Unfortunately the other possible solution (TGC) is looking great - but plays unrealistic. So for training I would say it is pretty useless (or like getting a Flightscope
). Not sure E6 will fix that. If you have a lot of space indoors (like 5 meters plus of ball flight) I would get a Trackman 4 - the overall package is the best. If you have less than 5 meters, the misreads indoors will destroy all possible value the machine has otherwise.

They have a subscription based service that is geared towards golf professionals and fitters - yes. But they also have amazing customer support and a software suite that is pretty awesome and changes to the better in increments every year. The have well working cloud based services. I think there price is definitely not low, but it seems a good deal for most golf professionals or indoor places. I would definitely consider paying a yearly fee in that area if I would receive a proper product, proper service and a bunch of courses included.....

On E6’s webpage I asked for product info and traded emails today with a nice CSR Melissa P who said that based on what she was hearing, that E6 for Foresight was scheduled for release April 20th and that it would be sold and licensed through Foresight, not TrueGolf.
I asked if it would have same functionality or if Foresight was making alterations to configure to their LMs and she said she wasn’t sure but thought that it will have the same functionality.
fwiw.

If indeed sold thru Foresight, which is what I am hearing, it will be super pricey with no discounts. I have 95 plus course with E6 1.6 and thought it was great except some carry distances didn't translate that exact all the time. Pretty sure Foresight doesn't care that I owned E6 and paid a lot of money so I might be in the market to sell my E6 1.6 license with all courses, which cost me a boat load. Trugolf would have offered me a discount!!!!! BTW E6 1.6 courses are still graphically and playability light years ahead of FSX 2020

Col agreed E6 1.6 is light years ahead of FSX2020 when it comes to graphics and becoming emersed in the experience.
Now to Forsights credit, i believe the physics are industry best in FSX. Actual carry distances , roll out, bounces , spin etc.....Foresight nailed it .
Putting also is far more real in FSX...
That being said , i still find myself missing E6
